Working with wildlife4 February 2009, London
How to deal with wildlife on construction sites. This course has been updated to reflect the Scottish regulatory regime.
Most proposed developments will have some wildlife interest, wether they are situated in rural or urban areas. The most important wildlife sites are usually designated in some way and other sites may still have wildlife interest but are not designated or otherwise protected. In general, wherever there is some wildlife on a site, this should at least be acknowledged and the potential adverse impacts on it avoided if possible, or reduced to a minimum if not.
Are you working in the construction industry and concerned about your overall environmental performance? Are you managing a site and have wildlife issues to deal with, but few or no ideas about how to handle them? Then this is the training course for you! Includes a free copy of CIRIA’s popular Working with wildlife handbook for every delegate.
